New name, same exemplary photography service
Over 20 years ago, we stepped away from our successful careers in the film and TV industry to set up our own business, Media Wisdom.
In those days, when it came to naming companies, the idea was to appear bigger than you were. A sort of Wizard of Oz approach!
Over the past two decades, we’ve worked on amazing commissions, grown with so many of our clients, and gone from strength to strength.
We have specialised in food and drink photography and are proud as punch to have picked up a few photography awards along the way.
But always at the back or our minds was the thought that maybe people get confused by the company name. That perhaps it was too generic and made us sound like we are a large agency, rather than the small independent, approachable photography team we are.
Time for a change!
This year, with the pandemic taking hold, has been a weirdly incredible one for us.
Like so many, we’ve had time to reflect on what we do. We aren’t a big photography agency with a bank of photographers on our books. It’s just us - Giles and Abi (and Millie) – a small and flexible team who remain thankful to be busy doing what we love!
We enjoy creating beautiful photography for our amazing and ambitious clients and adore working with talented stylists, make-up artists, designers, home economists and re-touchers to help us achieve that, whatever the budget.
Photography projects
Despite the pandemic, we are incredibly grateful that commissions have continued to come our way. They have been varied, thought-provoking and challenging.
They have included:
interior photography for an amazing, state-of-the-art forecourt
studio and location photography for food and drink campaigns
lifestyle photoshoots for eco-friendly and medical products
and powerful portrait sessions for some amazing NHS teams.
All these projects were set up and shot respecting the Government guidelines of the time and utilised the latest technology so that we were able to shoot remotely.
This approach ensured, and continues to ensure, that we keep personal contact to an absolute minimum and our clients and teams safe, without any loss of creativity or quality in our work.
New name but the same team and the same passion for our work!
Despite the name change, we are the same great team offering the same great service, focusing on what we are passionate about.
We tell the story of your brand and products and create stunning photography and video content.
To keep everything simple, our legal, banking and contact details remain the same; Giles Christopher Photography is the trading name of Media Wisdom Photography Ltd. If you’re an active client of ours, there is no need to change any banking information or accounts.
